One PDF, not fifty

Portals that ask for a PDF usually mean one file. Handing in eight separate images named IMG_2043 through IMG_2050 is how an application gets returned, and it is what most free converters produce because one image in and one file out is the easier thing to build. This page puts every photograph you pick into a single document, in order, and hands you that.

The page is sized to the photograph rather than to A4 by default. That keeps the file small and stops a portrait phone photo arriving as a small rectangle marooned in the middle of a sheet. If your form specifically wants A4, the page-size control is right there.

What makes a PDF of a document readable

Photograph each page flat, in even light, filling the frame. A shadow across the paper and a patterned surface in the corner both cost bytes and neither helps the person reading it. If the text is small, it is worth checking the result at full zoom before you upload — that is what the person at the other end will do.

Each page stores the picture in whichever of two ways comes out smaller: as a photograph, or losslessly. A snap of a certificate is usually the first; a clean screenshot or a scan of a page of type is often the second, and choosing wrongly is the difference between a crisp document and a fuzzy one.

Questions

Can I change the order of the pages?
The PDF follows the order the files appear in the list. Remove one and add it again to move it to the end, or pick the files in the order you want them.
Is there a limit on how many images?
Fifty at a time, and that is a limit of what a phone can hold in memory rather than a plan tier. Nothing here is metered and there is no sign-up.
Will the PDF have a watermark?
No. Nothing this site produces carries a watermark, and there is no paid tier that removes one — that business model is the reason this page exists.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is assembled by your own browser, which is why the page keeps working with your connection turned off, and why a scan of an identity document is safe here.
